Friday was the start of a fun weekend with the pups. We went to Melkonian North Reading Subaru to pick up the TV we won! They took pictures and we will show you once they are posted on their facebook page.
After the TV adventures, we headed to the Parkland Dog Park in Lynn for the first time. Oh my did these boys have fun! They made some new puppy friends and they were able to get some of their energy out. Once we got home, they were sleeping right away. I will say that the park was a success!
On Saturday we took the boys to visit the Northeast Animal Shelter so Baxter could visit with his foster dad. The whole shelter remembered him! Don't worry, Brodie got attention too :-)
Back to the park we went, but it was way too hot. There is not one bit of shade at the park; this would be our only complaint. We did get to see some of our new friends there and were able to show dad what the park was like.
All in all, it was a fun and adventurous weekend for the pups. We will try to get back to the dog park a few times this week before sun down.
Have a great week!

Typical Wednesday
Wednesday's are hard to get through when your a human or a dog. The boys can usually tell that we have had a long exhausting day, but when we arrive home all they want to do is play. We do our best keeping them entertained with treats, bones, and toys galore, but they love it best when they can "pig pile" on us and kiss us like crazy. That is what I miss the most while I am at work away from them: puppy kisses. I always try to make sure before I leave in the morning, I snuggle them, kiss them and tell them I love them, just like I would my husband. They are part of the family and will continue to be treated that way. Is it 6 o'clock yet...
PS. Huge shout out to ParkPack.com for the fantastic bag they have created to make doggie park time easier. We will be using our bag this Friday at the park (I took the day off for the boys). Check out their facebook and website! www.parkpack.com Let them know Jessica sent you!

Welcome!
Welcome to my new blog about living with my husband and 2 rescue pups. Over time I will share fun experiences, struggles, tips, and products to those who are interested.
Brodie and Baxter are the boys. Brodie is a mix rescue from Nelson County, VA who is about 10 months old. Baxter is a pit bull/shephard mix who is a tripawd rescue from Georgia and is about 6 months old. My husband, Jason, and I love them dearly. Not much to share today, except for the short introduction.
Thanks for listening blog world.
